Canta Gran is a participatory event that brings together choirs of elderly people to prepare and celebrate a series of concerts each year. The primary goal is not musical but human: to promote active ageing.

Through interviews with its protagonists and with a human and personal approach, “Canta Gran. El documental” reviews the trajectory of this project and follows the preparations for the 20th-anniversary concert, a concert marked by the desire of the organizers and participants to reunite after months of confinement and sing together again.

In addition to being published on the social media platforms of the Ajuntament de Barcelona and screened at tribute events for the singers, the documentary was also broadcast on the Barcelona local TV station betevé program DOCS.
