If you are familiar with our work, you will probably already be familiar with Super Laia, the Defender of Children’s Rights.
This character, played by the charismatic Bea Castelló, was born during the days of the pandemic as a way of bringing the Pregó dels Infantes educational project closer to the boys and girls who were confined. Its success was so great that, today, the Super Laia has become a central piece of the project.
In collaboration with Airun Cultural Services and Barcelona City Council, we have transformed this character into a complete transmedia experience.
Super Laia is much more than a character; is a key pedagogical tool to bring Children’s Rights closer to the classroom.
Their videos play a central role in energizing a program of activities that combines elements of gamification and storytelling, facilitating the work of teachers within the Pregó dels Infants project, making it more attractive for students.
This involvement can be seen in the face-to-face events, where the participation of Super Laia plays a central role. Boys and girls don’t miss the opportunity to greet her and even shower her with hugs and kisses.
Super Laia is a character much loved by all of us who are part of the project. We wish that your work in defense of Children’s Rights will have a long life.
