50 years of the Barcelona Pastry Guild School

The Barcelona Guild Pastry School (EPGB) has commemorated its 50th anniversary with a grand gala that brought together teachers, students and professionals from a sector that is a symbol of tradition and innovation.

As part of this event, The Folks Films produced a micro-documentary that captures the school’s history and highlights its contribution to the training of generations of pastry chefs. The piece combines emotion, memory and a vision for the future, paying tribute to an institution that has managed to keep the profession alive with a spirit of modernity.

In addition, we created a series of 9 videos dedicated to the award winners of the gala, which highlight prominent figures such as Oriol Castro (chef of the Disfrutar restaurant) or Ton Cortés (2024 Panettone World Champion), as well as historic establishments such as the Pastisseria Sàbat in Sant Cugat.

As part of the campaign promoted by Abacus, we also generated specific content for social networks, which allowed us to spread the celebration beyond the event and connect with a wide audience, giving relevance to the past, present and future of the Guild.
