Cibercrims

A docuseries that combines true crime and pedagogy to promote a safer digital environment.

Cibercrims is a production of The Folks Films in collaboration with Dana Building and broadcast on the 3Cat platform. Directed by Albert Folk, with scripts coordinated by Carla Gracia and narration by Abel Folk, the series brings the noir chronicle to the digital world to show how a simple click can radically transform lives.

Over the course of six episodes, journalist Toni Noguera guides viewers through real cases of cybercrime: scams, online harassment, identity theft, child pornography, phishing and the risks of virtual worlds. With the collaboration of the Mossos d’Esquadra, the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia and various experts in criminology, psychology and education, Cibercrims combines the shocking story of true crime with practical advice for navigating more safely.
Visually, the series opts for an innovative aesthetic that mixes documentary resources with animations inspired by anime, European comics and neo-noir, making tangible an often invisible universe such as the digital one.
Cibercrims is not just entertainment: it is an awareness and learning tool for families, young people and professionals.
